The Johnny Marr Limited Edition’s borrow their classic style from the iconic Signet model and have been modified with some modern innovations. The Blu Legends lens adds a subtle tint to the classic Ray-Ban lens which adds a touch of rock star class. On the inner temple you will find an engraved copy of Jonny Marr’s signature which will surely please any hardcore Smith’s fan.

Who Is Johnny Marr?

Marr rose to fame as the guitarist of The Smiths after forming the band with Morrissey in 1982. The band had a very sucessfull career between 1982-88 releasing eight albums. The Smiths and in particularly Marr have been an inspiration for many modern musicians, with  Noel Gallagher calling The Smiths an influence, especially Marr whom he described as a “fucking wizard”, also stating that “he’s unique, you can’t play what he plays”.

After The Smiths disbanded in 1988 Marr continued playing the guitar and was part of some of the most well known bands of the era. Marr has continued doing what he loves and  has quite recently been part of the Wakefield indie band The Cribs.
